Mississippi Backwaters/Guided Kayak Tours & Group Rentals

The Merry Green Marvel is now offering guided kayak tours of the Mississippi Backwaters near DeSoto, WI. Experience the diversity of life in these calm waters as we make our way around these islands and sloughs braided by the waters of the great Mississippi. In a typical tour we often see Eagles, Great Blue Heron, Turtles and various water fowl. Occasionally beaver and muskrats show their faces! Thanks to all who supported our opening 2023 season. Look for us to start the 2024 season in May and run tours through til October. We’d love for you to join us in marveling our way through this amazing habitat!
